Rod Oram: Three Cities – Seeking Hope in the Anthropocene

Thursday, 30 May 2019 - 7:30pm

Acclaimed business journalist Rod Oram talks about his travels to London, Chicago and Beijing to get a sense of what is being done about our environment and protecting our planet. He meets some of the pioneers who are seeking new values, systems and technologies and reports on their setbacks and progress. Because if 10 billion people are going to live well on this planet in 2050, we’re going to have to fundamentally change the way we do things.

Rod Oram has forty years’ experience as an international business journalist. He is currently a columnist for the Sunday Star-Times; a regular broadcaster on radio and television; and a frequent public speaker on sustainability, business, economics, innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship, in both New Zealand and global contexts.
