“There are 22 million refugees in the world, half of whom are under 18 years old,” says Minister Glynn Cardy, “New Zealand can and must do more. ‘Welcome #500Now’ is a campaign that we think all churches, faiths, and politicians – across the spectrum – could support.”
A billboard supporting the campaign is being erected outside St Luke’s today.

A Mother's Day afternoon of choral and organ music

Monday 9th January, the NZ Herald front page featured the couple who were married at St Luke's and who generously shared their wedding cake with a homeless man who was resting under the trees beside the church. View the video here
Christmas Eve, 7pm –
a community occasion especially designed for children and their supporters, whether the children are familiar with church or not. It is a fun service with stories, carols, fairies, candles, and Santa. You are welcome to dress up too. The service begins at 7pm on Christmas Eve and is about 50 minutes long.
