We welcome our local seniors to come along to this free one-day forum to meet each other and learn about health topics requested by seniors themselves.
SPEAKERS:
Professor Sir Richard Faull – Neuroscientist, professor of anatomy, and director of the Centre for Brain Research at the University of Auckland. He is a specialist in human neurodegenerative diseases.
Mark Dye – Co-founder and CEO of NUBU Pharmaceuticals, a New Zealand start-up business importing medical cannabis and innovators in related products.
Sandra Skipwith – Health Promotions Team Leader for the Bowel Screening Program with the Waitemata District Health Board.
Dr Leo Sheck – Ophthalmologist with Retina Specialists, who are supporters of Macular Degeneration NZ. Dr Sheck currently holds the chair of New Zealand Save Sight Society, which is a major funder of New Zealand ophthalmic research.
